DISHY by Henning Lee® Electric Milkshake and Drink Maker Recipes

Milkshake

  1. Place 4 scoops (about 1¼ cup) of ice cream into the stainless steel cup. Add a splash (about ½ cup) of milk to the cup. Place the cup under the mixer and fasten into the clip. Blend on low until fully blended. If your milkshake has chunks of ice cream in it, keep blending or blend on high until smooth.

Tips:

  1. You can make your milkshake any flavor you wish! Change the ice cream flavor to simply adjust the flavor, or add syrups and sauces after adding milk to your cup. Chocolate syrup and marshmallow fluff create the perfect s'mores milkshake.

  2. Full-fat ice cream will yield the creamiest milkshake. If you can, ensure that is what you are using.

  3. If your milkshake is too thick while blending, try adding a splash of milk to get it to your desired consistency. More ice cream = thicker. More milk = thinner.

  4. Don't add ice to your milkshakes. This will water it down.

  5. Letting your ice cream sit out for 5-10 minutes before adding it to your milkshake maker will allow the milkshake to blend more smoothly.

  6. If adding larger mix-ins, add them last. First, reach your desired consistency. Then, add your mix-ins and mix on low for only a few seconds to essentially stir everything together.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Shake

1. Mix 1/2 cup

Dalgona (Whipped) Coffee

  1. Add 2 Tbsp of instant coffee, 2 Tbsp of sugar, and 2Tbsp of boiling water to your cup. Place the cup under the mixer and fasten the clip. Mix on low for one minute, remove and check for “peaks” (when your mixture has a whipped cream-like consistency and stays in a peak when the mixer is removed). Place back into the mixer on low until the mixture reaches that whipped cream-like consistency and peaks can be formed.

  2. Serve on top of hot or cold milk, using a spoon to remove the mixture from the cup. Stir together and enjoy!
